As I get close to my one year anniversary of Crossfit I figured I’d look back at some of the things I’ve learned along the way…
1 that exercise is a choice it should be done daily like eating or sleeping
2 Crossfit provides cliff notes aka Crossfit Journal…not often top athletes give tips to make you a better athlete and for $25.00, you can’t beat the price
3 practice what your bad at…no jerry not eating your vegetables…me its burpees, running and pull-ups…
4. Food journal…yes I know sherry..Log your food…results not coming in the way you wanted… odds are its in the journal.
5. just ask…Crossfitters are the only group I’ve ever seen willing to help…believe me I email them on a regular basis from all over the place…and guess what...they respond
6. can’t run on empty…bodies are like cars…bad gas bad performance…I know my best results are from a strict diet…hate to say it but you can't fake ugly
7 success…results are not just biscuits lost…it's improvement made…real pushups, weight increase in lifts, wall ball, kettle bell..yada yada
8 have goals…its hard to measure success if you don’t know where your headed
9. enjoy the ride, be bad ass and rock on
